4-star adults-only hotel in Symi with harbor views and a personal host
Designed and Hosted by the Owner
1900 Hotel offers guests direct access to the owner and host, Dimitris, an architect who designed and built the property himself. He provides local tips, books restaurant tables, and arranges boat trips around the island. This personal service, highlighted by multiple guests, creates a stay that mirrors having a local friend with a house in Symi.
Rooms
The hotel has four rooms, each with a Double Room with Sea View category, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. Each room includes a balcony and a terrace, plus a work desk and free WiFi. Bathrobes, tea and coffee makers, walk-in showers, parquet floors, and a refrigerator are standard in all accommodations.
Renovated 1900 House with Symi History
The building was originally the house of the most important benefactor of the island, now beautifully renovated into a four-room hotel. Dimitris shares the history of the hotel and the island during the stay. This authenticity appeals to guests interested in history and local heritage.
Location
1900 Hotel is 800 metres from Symi Port and a short walk from Nos Beach. The hotel provides a private check-in and check-out service and a concierge to assist with needs. Rhodes International Airport is 63 km away, with ferry transfers typically arranged by the host.
Sun Terrace and Bar
Guests relax on the sun terrace with outdoor furniture, overlooking the harbor. The hotel bar serves wine, champagne, and snacks from the snack bar. Daily fresh fruit bowls and welcome treats are provided in the open buffet area.
